Danielson Ferreira Trindade (born 9 January 1981 in São Paulo), simply Danielson, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for C.D. Nacional in Portugal, as a central defender.
Danielson started his senior career with lowly Grêmio Inhumense. In the 2003 summer, he moved to Portugal, playing the following five years with Rio Ave FC (the first three seasons in the first division, the following two in the second, with promotion in 2007–08).
In 2008, Danielson signed with Russian Premier League outfit FC Khimki. However, in the following January transfer window, he returned to Portugal, being loaned to F.C. Paços de Ferreira. Subsequently, he returned to his previous club, was released, and re-signed with Paços, for one season.[1]
Danielson signed with another Portuguese side in June 2010, moving to Madeira's C.D. Nacional.
